Old Line Oysters is a Coastal chic lifestyle brand that carries jewelry and bespoke items inspired by the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We also have a strong focus on supporting & sourcing from fair trade artisans. A portion of each sale goes to support the Oyster Recovery Partnership's reef restoration efforts to keep the Chesapeake Bay clean and healthy for generations to come. Our vintage monograms designs are inspired from etchings from the 1800s & our watercolor designs are all created by our team of talented artists. Each one is finished with 24kt gold leaf. Our monogram gifts, jewelry & personalized gifts are perfect for hostess, bridesmaids or anyone who loves the Eastern Shore!
Everyone benefits from a healthy Chesapeake Bay.
Poor water quality and declining habitats can be reversed.
Oysters are the answer. Oyster shell is the best, most natural material used to rebuild reefs so to save this ecologically important by product, Old Line Oysters recycles 10 shells for every OLO purchased shell that otherwise would be dumped in landfills. Oyster Recovery Partnership now recycles, cleans and treats recycled shells with baby oysters and puts them back into the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. We believe that all people should be afforded opportunities to have dignified and respectable work. We believe all people should be able to provide for their families and flourish in their communities. To uphold those values, we have partnered with Hands Producing Hope to make our signature jewelry line.
Just like every oyster is unique, we want to make sure that every piece is custom and special to you. Our team will work directly with you to ensure that your Old Line Oyster purchase reflects your individual style. To elevate your gift giving experience, most of our products come wrapped in one of our hand-drawn toiles, with a hand-tied grosgrain bow and a jute bag, perfect for collecting your own shells. We will include a note in our signature calligraphy at no additional charge, just let us know!
Old Line Oysters, which are embellished with 24kt gold leaf sheets, can also be painted your alma mater’s logo. You tell us your school and we will paint the school’s logo or lettering onto the shell’s face in your school colors.
Similarly, we offer a watercolors product line. You might request we create a shell for you with a palmetto painted onto it or a tiger, a fleur de Lis, the shape of your state or country, or some other image of significance to you. We provide the shell; you provide the idea.
While you spruce up your décor, you also need to accessorize your own look, and we can help with that as well. We offer a line of purses and tote bags as well as fashion jewelry.
Our collection lets you fashionably accessorize your wardrobe while showing your support for the Chesapeake Bay, and the people living in its shore communities. Shore residents craft each of our home décor fashion items. Our earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and keychains offer you a natty nautical method of dressing up your look.
Organize your keys on one of our oyster shell key rings or support the health of Chesapeake Bay wearing one of our seashell necklaces on a pearl wrapped chain. Choose from oyster shell only earrings or pearl and shell earrings. Our necklaces come in a variety of lengths so you can find one to complement any neckline.
Our line of handbags offers wristlets with our tag line, “No grit, no pearl,” to complement any casual look.
You can use our roomy fashion tote to pack for a day or weekend at the beach, or any other destination. We can help you look smashing wherever you go.
Our company happily brings together small businesses and artisans from throughout Maryland and other island communities. We have partnered with Sea Bags, a Maine company, to create our unique handbags. Sea Bags crafts each of their bags from sails they have collected on the Maine shoreline. The company uses a New England rope manufacturer and one of the last thread manufacturers in the US. This process results in a completely American product that speaks the tales of the east coast, crafted at the Custom House Wharf in Portland, Maine.
For our bracelet homage to Kent Island, located off the coast of Queen Anne’s County, Maryland, we have partnered with Susan Shaw, a Texas artist, to create a mold from a found shell to produce these delicate looking yet sturdy bracelets; each bracelet features five molded shells. Shaw hand casts each bracelet which she then triple-plates in 24 karat gold. We again partnered with Shaw on our Lewes bracelet, an homage to the
